The Sidekick II (of Paris Hilton fame) has just made it over to the UK, offered by T-Mobile. It seems like a pretty decent device - does anyone have any experience, and how does it compare to the Blackberry?

It seems cheaper to run than the Blackberry (T-Mobile are offering 40MB of data per month and £1 per MB after that) and more designed for consumers than business users.

I had sidekick (I, not II), and reallly liked the device. I thought it was also cost effective compared to tpother PDA/cell/supercell I've seen.

The only issue I have with it is that it lasts a year; it breaks too easily, IMHO. (or am I destructive)?

i've had one for a while. it's a very nice device. it's not nearly as flexible as something like a treo 650, which my brother has. but for the specific functions for which it is intended it is very well done. the keyboard is great and it makes a great email, webbrowsing client.
