So people aren't having to comb through the others (tons of pages in some of them!), let this be the final, one-stop destination. AND, to keep it light and quick, here are a few rules we go by to keep it that way:

1. Bullet/number you predictions, and...
2. Let that be the only thing in the post
3. One word/phrase/sentence only...NO explanations/reasoning/detailed specs
4. One post only from each participant...say it, then beat it.
5. And to keep it relevant and focused to this specific topic (and not stretch into a multi-day thing), perhaps a friendly mod could lock it at the start of tomorrow's keynote...so that gives everyone exactly 12 hours to have their say.

Simple in-and-out that everyone can easily scan quickly.

Cool?

Here are mine* (in no particular order)...then I'm going to bed and will talk to you cats tomorrow, I'm sure!

* In a separate post, so the cleanness and brevity can set a shining example to those who follow...do it how I've done mine, and it'll be a fast, fun thread, and easy to read

1. Intel iBooks. No Intel PowerBooks.
2. Updated iPod shuffle, with one-line display. Maybe an iPod companion device, boombox?
3. iLife '06, with iWeb blogging tool. iWork update not happening. FCE update no show, either.
4. Intel-based Mac mini, with LIMITED media center features. (not as expansive as Windows XP Media Center Edition) Front Row will be jazzier, DVR functionality possibly.
5. More iTunes content. More shows. Maybe films.
6. .Mac: huge update, but will have nothing to do with the media center or iTunes.

edit: forgot the shuffles.

I definitely agree with this.
The "Data Transfer (bandwidth)/month: 1024 GB" that showed up in my .Mac account then quickly disappeared bodes of something big IMO.

Alright, here goes my pipe-dream keynote lineup:
  • OS X 10.4.4 available through software update following the keynote
  • Intel transition progressing nicely, ahead of schedule
  • Introducing iWork '06, now with Numbers; the simplest, now complete, office suite yet for OS X
  • Introducing iLife '06, now with iWeb
  • Includes iTunes 6.1, with some snazzy new feature
  • Did we mention it's compatible with the new iPod shuffle?
  • Also available in black!
  • Oh, did I mention 10.4.4 will be the first public release of OS X on Intel?
  • Introducing the new iBook with a Core Solo processor
  • Great for consumers, slightly lowered price
  • New content partnerships for iTunes
  • Available and working immediately on the new Viiv-based Mac mini personal media hub, also running 10.4.4
  • Which can connect to your home network via our new AirPort Express AV, based on 802.11n
  • All of this, available today.
  • Oh! And one more thing... the new PowerBook based on Core Duo processors, available in 3-4 weeks.
It is practically impossible that all of this will happen. If it did, though, we're in for one HELL of a ride.

:smokey:

Apparently I call the cops when I see people litter.

Likely:
  • 1GB Shuffle
  • iWork '06 with iWeb and possible Numbers (spreadsheet?)
  • Core Solo mini
  • Core Solo cheapBook (12"?)
  • Core Duo iBooks...maybe a 12" but certainly a widescreen
  • 10.4.4
  • iTunes 6.1 for the new shuffles (but the way they've been going, it very well could be iTunes 7 =P
  • And one more thing: you were wondering where the powerbook fits in? *unveils new 15" powerbook, and (less likely) a 17" to ship in 3-4 weeks, 12" PowerBook is dead*

Not as likely:
  • iLife '06
  • Leopard Preview

Honestly, all I want is a spreadsheet...just a real, Mac OS spreadsheet.

I'm an easy guy to please.

Apple doesn't announce point releases at an expo. They're too minor.

- Revised iPod shuffle, now in shinier white as well as black. 1 GB, $99 or 1.5 GB, $129.
- Review of how iTunes fares, partnership with Fox announced
- iLife '06 with iWeb
- iWork '06 with Numbers
- Super-thin Intel-based PowerBook. 1.8 and 2.0 GHz Core Duo configurations, 256 MB ATi Radeon X1600, 1 GB RAM standard (4 GB max through two slots), two USB ports per side, two FireWire 800 ports, no more FireWire 400 (but adapter included) and a built-in iSight that can be turned off not only locally, but also remotely through... (Not announced: 15-inch PowerPC-based PowerBook still available for legacy reasons, much like PCIe-less PowerMac.)
- ...Apple Remote Desktop 3.0, with network-wide Spotlight functionality as well as access to turning various hardware features (such as iSights, CD/DVD burning, etc.) on and off, not to mention all the other features that were discussed months ago.
- One more thing: Intel-based iBook.
- Everyone gets to walk out with a free package of iWork '06.
