Take this BBC news quiz and tell us how you did by answering the poll.

Wow, I'm useless. Only got three right.
I only knew, for sure, about the Wolfowitz thing (I saw that earlier this week somewhere). I had to guess on the others, and apparently I suck at guessing. |

Pscates, if you're useless at three, what does that makes me at one?

Thing is, some of that isn't really news, but it's the kind of stuff that if you didn't hear the story you can logically deduce which answer is the most likely. So even if you get 3 or 4 right, I suspect many are just guessing. I know I did.

They do on-air quizzes (I think on Sundays). Wow, I'm generally *not* very good at guessing 'those' answers. Now, on an actual written test of some kind, I think I'm usually pretty good at guessing. But these on-air quizzes seem to try to make their answer choices humorous, and that 'silliness' aspect makes it more difficult to 'guess' the answer, imo. Yeah, that Wolfowitz thing... President of the World Bank? Whoa! I bet his momma is embaaaarrassed. |

Only 3 right, here.
Was there any "news" in that quiz, though? Those are "interest" stories, I think. |

I got 6 right, even though I didn't actually know the answer to any of them. The answers were too easy to guess though. I knew I had most of them right before I clicked the button.
The only one that was a real stab in the dark for me was the birth-giving machine question. I figured it was defintely not Japan, so I was completely off. |

I'll confess, I only got one right. All of them were guesses though because I haven't heard of any of those stories. The only reason I got the one right was because there was no way I could see a biology student actually having that happen and so I picked it.

Two I knew (Lucky the Duck and Japanese "birth machines"), the rest I guessed on.
I suck at guessing. |

The first time I tried I only got one right, the second time I got six. Sure, it's cheating, but most of that's not really news anyways.
