I'm finding, since upgrading the software on my devices, that my Calendar is very slow and laggy, especially on the Mac. Is anyone else getting this? Lots of beachballs, calendars failing to populate when scrolling through weeks, or even long freezes when viewing as weeks.
I do have a couple of sources, an Exchange server and iCloud. It was entirely trouble-free in Big Sur. CPU seems to spike to +100% for Calendar when this happens. Memory consumption seems reasonable (approx 150mb) Has anyone else experienced the same in Monterey / iOS15? |

I've not. How many calendars are you displaying? Personally I've got 7 iCloud and one of those is a subscription to my M365 work calendar. The "Exchange" one is not able to edit, only view though.

Seems fine here on Monterey. Editing Exchange also works.

From an iPhone X iOS 15 perspective, the speed seems the same for me.
I can tell you one thing I am over the moon happy with - event creation. Apple have returned to a better date/time input. There’s also cleaner segmentation, too, in the UI. Pendulum swinging back. |
