Hi,

First time poster here. I'm quite excited about the newly revved powerbooks. I've just registered for the ADC student package to take advantage of the discounted powerbooks they have in stock, today. They're still varifying my ID and courses. When I checked a few minutes ago, it seems they are listing regular prices for all the powerbook models in the select membership store, while every other products seem to be discounted. Is this a glitch or what? I swear the prices are much cheaper when I checked last night! If these are the new prices then I just wasted 100 bux US since I can buy cheaper through the education site.

I'm looking at the Canadian ADC select site,

http://http://store.apple.com/AppleS...om?qprm=117736

price for 17" is $3,399, which is the same as the regular store.

if anyone can confirm, that'd be great

I'm not sure if this clears up anything:

All other eligible participants in the ADC Hardware Purchase Program may order through the ADC Select Member Store and may pay with a credit card or a cheque. Please note that the ADC Select Member Store appears as an Education Store but developer pricing will be honored.
You may need to call or contact the person listed on the ADC Canada Hardware Purchase Program to determine what the pricing actually is. That's probably the easiest way to find out.
