Hello guys. It has been a while since I have posted here (hope you all are doing well)
I have a specific question regarding LTE coverage in the US compared to Europe. I'd like to be able to use iPhone 5S (t-mobile version) in Norway. The t-mobile version only has LTE band 3 (not 7) while in Norway the two dominant networks use LTE bands 3 and 7. Would 3 by itself be sufficient? Would I notice a difference by not having band 7? Thanks again |

It will depend on the build out your carrier has done. You would have to somehow find out which band is more prevalent. I know most carriers in Europe originally were to deploy on Band 7 (2600MHz) but they also repurposed Band 3 spectrum. Obviously by not having the other band you will be missing coverage and capacity but it's kind of hard to tell without testing it out.
