I know iOS 13 does. Given that iOS 14 further renames the Activity app to Fitness (I think?), I wonder if this is the year they're making the cutoff? I still have a Series 0 Watch and can't find any information on whether it will still be able to push its Activity data to iOS 14.

I saw David Smith, a prominent Apple Watch developer tweet about this right after the keynote I think.
This is the first update to watchOS that cuts off the original Apple Watch. Thankfully, I just got my wife upgraded to a Series 5 after the face came undone and I had upgraded last year after my Series 0 screen cracked. EDIT: But I'm an idiot and misread the question. That's a good point. I wonder if the data wills till sync or whether they're just not going to send data over any longer? No more Twitter. It's Mastodon now. |

I'm confused. You're linking to something from 2018 — yes, watchOS 5 won't run on the Series 0 (and watchOS 7 won't run on the Series 1 and 2). But Activity sync with the current iOS (and non-current watchOS) still worked.
Anyway, someone from reddit assures me it works for them… |

There was another tweet that I saw that he mentioned cutting off support.
Definitely didn't read the date and replied too early. I'll leave it to show how much of a fool I was. No more Twitter. It's Mastodon now. |
