Hey, if he said "risk free", then what have you got to lose?

Well, since it's free of Risk, I imagine that he'd be loosing Axis & Allies, since that's the only other obscenely long game I know of.

...

Oh wait, we're talking about something else. I'll go sit in the corner now.

I've made just over $28 million in two years, helping out a Nigerian prince. Nice fella.

Seriously, I just read an article in today's paper about a Nigerian woman who scammed a Brazilian bank official and his bank out of $25 million or so.

She has been caught and charged, iirc. (I skimmed the article rather quickly.)

What's the deal with Nigeria anyway? Why do all these scams originate from there, does anyone have any idea?

Has anyone read about other types of scams and/or "professional-level" hacking orginating from particular countries or regions of the world? I think I remember reading about Russians trying to hack into various US financial/govt/military/corporate supposedly-secure computer systems.

And of course Al-Qaida would love to succeed in such activities, I imagine that goes without saying.

No telling how many times these people are successful, because, not surprisingly, the victimized parties are less than eager to publicize that their systems have been penetrated.

Carol - you need to appreciate the inventiveness of Nigerian scamsters, the "419" scams are legendary.

Yes, because we all know there are no wealthy Democrats...they've all taken a vow of poverty, in solidarity with The People.

I'd be a Republican, money or not, thanks.

Might that depend on how deep the penetration is?
