I booted up my MBP (2.2 C2D, 2GB ram), running 10.5.1 this morning, and my caps lock and number lock keys need to be ON in order to actually be OFF, i.e., in order to type these nice lowercase letters, I have to have my caps lock key on, to type letters instead of numbers, I need my number lock key on. I did install the most recent updates last night (iTunes, etc); could that have caused it?

I know it's not a big deal, but, well... it's damn irritating. I haven't even had the thing for six months yet, it lives in a nice, padded bag, and doesn't even get used each day.

Does anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: well, a reboot took care of it. Still, if anyone knows what caused such odd behavior, I'd like to know.
