Yep, that time of year, again!

Nobody seems to care about these things anymore, but I do. I think they're lots of fun.

New iPhone
New Watch
New iPad Pro
Wireless charging thing

Sorry Mac people. New Macs will come late September or early October.

Edit: After I posted this, it appears Apple oopsed and leaked their own images (below). The gold looks quite nice.

Also, I love that Apple is having lunch with me at noon!

It's true, I'm much more excited about the Mac stuff this year. BUT this is a phone upgrade year for me so I'll be paying attention... I've no use for the watches and I'm only really interested in the iPads if they come out with a new mini.

So it goes.

I got an iPhone X early this year and love it. If you decide to upgrade, definitely get that (or the new thing, whichever). Crazy phone is fast, gorgeous screen, and Face ID has forced me to believe that the Home button is stupid!

Seriously, I thought Touch ID was brilliant until I switched to the X. Now, Touch ID feels so … 1960?

We see nothing in the rumors/pipes that indicate the iPad Mini is getting an update. I really think Apple is focused on making the iPhone XS Plus the new iPad Mini. And to think, it will only cost 3x as much!

We are down to selling an iPad Mini about once per month, which is about the same frequency as iPods. In other words, the masses have voluntarily replaced them with other things. However, they have surprised us in the past.

I'll be upgrading my iPhone X just because I have a yearly update thing through Verizon. I love my iPhone X, but I'm just upgrading to upgrade. Whatever. Hardware wise, the iPhone has almost reached the peak in my mind.

I'll definitely be upgrading to an Apple Watch Series 4. I have a Series 2 in Aluminum and I have beat it up pretty good. I think I'm going to go to the Black Stainless this time around. I never thought I would want or use an Apple Watch but after I got one, I can't imagine NOT having one. It's entrenched in my daily life now, from work to travel to working out.

One thing I want more then anything, and it'll probably be later in the month, but I desperately want an updated Mac Mini. I have been holding out for one so I can upgrade at work. I have a multi-display set up and don't have any interest in an iMac and the Mac Pro isn't for me.

I hope you get it, and I think you will.

But not until early October.

I am looking forward to the keynote. This is also my year for upgrading phones in my house. Thing is I don't have to, but I'm looking forward to doing so. Maybe not the $1000 phone will be low enough to entice me. I hate paying that much for something to play Pokemon Go with!

The rumor that the SE is going to be the current iPhone 7 is actually kinda nice. That would be a major spec bump and a useful phone, just big if it keeps the 7's form factor.

I just got my Series 3 Watch so I won't be upgrading this cycle. I still love this one over my original SS Watch.

Convergence is overrated, I'm here to say.

I'm looking to go backwards, honestly. My beloved 4s and 1G mini were the perfect combo, but I convinced myself that carrying 2 devices was a hassle. Went with a 6S+ and thought the world of it until I didn't. It's just slightly too big – I have reasonably big hands and I can just use it one-handed. Plus I never watch movies on it in bed like I used to on my mini. Doesn't feel cinematic enough I guess?

So Ideally I’d go for a smaller iPhone without giving up any of the new goodies, and a new iPad mini... because I really believe that it's the perfect size for a 'carry around the house' companion.

I'd also like a 12-core Mac mini with oodles of connectivity. And artichokes year round.

I have an iPhone 8 but I'll be upgrading. Touch ID has been more and more frustrating and I'd really like to step up to a dual-lens configuration.

I *think* I'm upgrade eligible through TMO but need to figure out those details.

I continue to love the form factor of the SE and think it's perfect. I probably won't upgrade until my birthday next Feb, but I've already gone hands-on with a coworker's 8 and I don't want that size. The rumored sizing of the 3 new iPhones is Too Fucking Big. The 7 guts in an SE shell would be my ideal upgrade.

I'm one of those hoping that the leaked images are red herrings and that "Gather round" indicates new ROUND watches. If they do that I'll save up and purchase one. Those giant boxes look STUPID!! {judgey Drew is judgey}

From a guy who used to wear Casio G-Shocks I'm not bothered by the size of a 42mm Watch.

7 guts in an SE/5 body would be nice. I'd like the smaller size too personally.
