They're apparently pin-compatible with the regular Core 2, and they use a third of the energy. Would Apple consider these as a BTO option? Or are they more likely to go into the MacTablet? |

LV and ULV chips are significantly more expensive. Maybe Apple will eventually offer this as a BTO option, but otherwise? Nah. They haven't with Core 1.

An ULV chip would work well in an ultra-slim, very light (3 lb.) notebook, sans optical drive. A 12" widescreen display would be very nice. Use the MB KB and magnetic closure and you have a very stylish portable.
