So I just realized that when I search for my common avatar, Kraetos, on Google, I get the second and third hits. Contrast to my real name when I only get the eighteenth hit. (When I updated my blog more frequently, I was able to get the third hit.)

Still, my internet avatar pulls the second hit! Crazy. How about you?

I'm all four hits. Hell yeah!

My personal site is the first one (which is odd, since I haven't mentioned my screen name there in a couple years), my Nova profile is the second, my Oldblivion forum profile is the third, and a post I made a long time ago at LinuxQuestions.org is the fourth. The rest of the results are hidden and are undoubtedly my posts here.

I get a suggested correction "did you mean Buonarroti?" and I'm all the hit ason that page. Oddly enough, AI comes up first, then AN, then some other stuff, and on the second page is a document from alcimedes' homepage, a pdf of me ranting about how much I hate the AO.

I'm the majority of the first couple pages. Interestingly, my business website (which doesn't mention "torifile") is at the bottom of the first page, too. Weird.

I'm seeing some serious competition for the first hits with "Banana". I lose.

Yeah, you probably have one of the least dominating screen names for Google results.

I come up second, using a different name than I use here. I registered on AN before I came up with a constant avatar for all sites. Unfortunately, it appears somebody else uses mine quite often, as well. Apparently this person plays WoW, listens to REM, and lives in Antioch, IL. Not me, not me, and not me.

I must not be very original, or people keep stealing my avatar (my money is on "not very original"). GrayDiggity has a MySpace page and a YouTube profile. At least I get the first Google hit with this one.

As one would expect, Google thinks I meant "Moog the Synthesizer", as well as a variety of other links not related to me... not the least of which is the famed moogs.com (run by a rock-infused she-devil named Megan).

Stupider? According to the Apple dictionary, it's a word, but I'm not buying it. Mo' Stupid is the correct term.

My screen name comes up a few times on the first page of google.
Oddly enough, the first entry on google is for the island of Crete...weird.

I have some hits from entropy.ch, macnn, AN, ubuntu forums and unix.com.

Then, a whole bunch of hits from some eastern european looking language (Hungarian?).

Hmm... oddly enough my user name is a band name, and an REM song. I'm not on the first 5 pages of Google.

My real name though gets a lot of hits on Google, mostly track and cross country related.

Mine is the first hit, in fact, it's the whole page.

Seems I'm a pretty popular guy on the web.

There were 441,000 results when I searched and it took me until page 26 before I found anything related to me. And it happened to be for my post in murbot's thread Best Fight Ever.

The only other noteworthy thing I found was this: the foj

Nothing too interesting for mine, although on the first page my user name was connected with a microprocessor panel.

I always wondered what your username referred to. I always thought PowerBook PowerMac.

First hit was AN for RowdyScot Only two hits weren't me out of 20-some, but the other guy is from Hawaii. I'm the 9th hit on my actual name for the work I do with my Scottish clan.

You were right, when I first signed up I was using a Powerbook G3 and my trusty Power Mac G4.
