I have several hundred mp3 files that have no ID3 tag on them.. The file names for each of these are the artist and the title of the song.
Are there any ID3 tag editors that anyone could reccommend that could do this as a batch process, splitting the first half into the artist and second half of the name as the title? I have used a program called TagScanner on XP which could do this, but I'd like to find something that is the equivalent or near equivalent for Macintosh and change this information natively on the Mac rather than export/import the folders, if anyone has any suggestions. Much thanks Len |

I used to use MP3 Rage, now renamed to Media Rage for this task. I haven't used it in a long time, though. There are probably others; try searching MacUpdate and VersionTracker.
