http://maps.google.com

Google launched the beta of its Maps service and I must say it is a lot friendlier than Mapquest. And it works in Canada. I can't imagine what else Google wants to dip its fingers in.

By the by, I live 2652 miles from Apple HQ.

Forgot to mention, apparentley it doesn't work in Safari. Can't confirm because I'm at work. But it works wonderfully in Firefox.

Nice find. I like the way it allows you to grab and move around the map, and the drawing of the streets is nice.

I'm so impressed by this. It's a clean design and VERY easy to use. Being able to drag around is the best thing they could have done.

I think these are some of the most attractive maps I've ever seen too. I would expect this type of quality and smooth look from Apple. Of course they would use aqua widgets to control zooming

Would like to see some updated satellite shots sometime, those terranova shots seem to be getting old, and I'd like a little better quality new shots. Even if we can't zoom in closer for security purposes, I'd like the most zoomed in to be at least clearer.

I kind of don't like those red map markers for locations, I wish maps.google would give you the option to remove them.

Other than that, I like how much more clean it looks compared to the other services out there and the dragging feature is nice.

Wow. That's very cool! Fast too.

The drop shadows are a nice touch.

Not bad, could be a little faster. But in general I like it a lot more than mapquest already.

It work, but it's buggy. I'm sure they'll get the kinks worked out for us eventually as they did with Gmail.
