I never did get the hang of the self mutilation humor... the first few are funny, but after a while it gets disturbing... but humorous, in a twisted way...

I like the super-serious opening credits music and sound effects... clearly they don't take themselves seriously, which makes it at least a little funny.

No... that's what I thought. Like a parody of all the junk action films that come out of Hollywood. Not that there weren't a couple of funny elements to the animations but the opening *was* kinda funny...
