Is there any 3rd part app (preferably free ) that uses Apple's speech software??? So I can talk to it instead of Apple's little round window that keeps 'freezing' The built in one keeps the arrows pointed toward the little mic like it hears something, when half the time it doesnt. It is easy to make my Mac talk to me, but our communication is a little buggy.

I've said it before; I'll say it again.
Apple's speech recognition software is little more than a gimmick today and should be avoided unless you have a legitimate disability and need to use it. I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but it's one that needs to be said. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Yes, I understand. I just wish my Mac was more of an A.I. At least it greats me at wake and start up....
