My son's iBook G4 was running slowly and i deleted several file which i thought were worthless. Bad move. Now I cannot proceed past the log-in screen. I can log-in but the screen just shows blue. I do not know any other information about the memory or ram but am pretty certain everything is as it was when purchased. I want to transfer the photos in iPhoto and the music in iTunes to an external hard drive then reinstall the operating system...can anyone help me figure this one out?:
