Hi All,

Whenever I try to right click on a Media file or Document, whatever the sort, I always get multiple options...as seen below:



Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Borked LaunchServices cache.

Try:

sudo rm -f /Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices*

should I delete that file? or run that code? If I have to run the code, how would I go about doing that?

Go to Applications > Utilities > Terminal and enter that code

By the way, this is explained in our FAQ thread:
FAQ: Check this thread *first* if you have problems or questions!

If your "Open With" menu shows applications that are no longer installed or shows some of them as duplicates, you can use the following Terminal command to rebuild your LaunchServices database. Note that this command should be entered all at once...

Be sure to check there next time before starting a new thread!
