I have a 400MHz Pismo with airport and DVD. It is in beauiful condition and works great. I have two power adapters with it. Best offer takes it! Wife is making me clean the office.

I know that the battery lasts at least an hour (never been off power longer) and the HD is 30gig and the memory is 256. This thing was running Tiger really well! It will come with Panther.

Wow, thats a damned good offer! Looks like ANY laptop that can run OS X comfortably will fetch a nice premium on the market I knew I should have sprung for an old Pismo instead of a Rev. A iBook for my Grandmother!!

With a new battery, Max 5-7 hours depending on your settings. Currently, the one year old battery in my Pismo gets roughly 6:15. (Lowest brightness, reduced power settings, large hard drive with big cache and plenty of RAM.)

^^ One more quality post from the desk of Ebby. ^^

Guys, please stop trying to shit on this thread. I've deleted all of the "screwing around" posts.

It's pretty lame that no one can ever sell anything normally here, because everyone thinks it's hilarious to fill the thread with 2 cent offers.

Please keep your posts in this thread on topic. If you have no interest in actually purchasing the computer, please leave the thread alone.

Thanks.

The cool thing about Pismos is that you can use TWO batteries. Buy a new one, couple it with the one that comes with it, and you'll easily get 7 or 8 hours of battery life.

By the way, thank you Murbot, and I apologize to Gregg for being an asshole along with everyone else. I'd make an offer for it, because I really would like it... but I simply don't have the money. Maybe in a couple weeks, if you don't manage to sell it, AND I get really lucky, I might come across the needed money. But right now I can't offer anything but to wish you luck in selling it for a good price.

BTW, I think it's worth at least $400.

I could offer 400 for it but I would have to wait a week or more before I could send money for it, which I could understand as a problem. I

I was just trying to offer a nice older powerbook to some people that I thought would appreciate it. I am sure you are unaware but there are people out there that can't afford the latest and greatest. I just wanted to give someone a chance to use a Mac that otherwise not get to.

My brother has been wanting a pismo for a while, he might be able to offer around $400 for it. I'll post again later to see exactly how much he is willing to spend.

traitor!!!!
looks like they responded similarly...

I think the $300ish offers are quite good. I would take the most reliable of the bunch.

If it wasn't a G3 (which I have sworn to never buy again) I'd seriously consider getting it for my grandmother... but I think it may have too many ports and confuse her.

I have been using it as a Tiger test bed and it is pretty cool. But, we have too many computers (wife's words not mine). Currently we have a 12inch 1.33 PB (Mine), 12inch 867 PB(Wifes), Dual G5 , and the Pismo. Not to mention... IBM T40, T23, and E-serve and a custom dual 3GHz Pentium 4 that my teenager uses for gaming. (Which pisses me off because he has a PS2, X-box, and Game Cube!)

Thanks.

1) It was not a '2 cent' offer... it was $100 CDN
2) I do have an interest in purchasing the Prismo... for $100 CDN
3) I was on topic... in making an offer.

Yet you still deleted my post.
So what if someone out offered me... my bid still stands.

(*duck and covers*)

no sig, how's that for being a rebel!
