For those living under a rock, Blizzard is getting ready to release their cross-platform MMPORG, World of War Craft. Seems that they're stress testing it now, and need approx. 100,000 additional players.

File planet (evil) is distributing the accounts and the downloads. You can download without having to pay them, you just aren't gauranteed a spot. However, I just filled out their registration form, paid nothing, and am downloading the client as I speak.

FWIW, their registration pages seem to work best with IE, I had the security settings too high on Camino to see their stupid hidden text.

Looks like I'll just have to wait and see if I get on the European beta test. Pesky North American requirement.

I signed up for that today but am not downloading it because I haven't recieved an email. I just made up a name and everything(except e-mail). That's how I got past their big USA ONLY thingy.
