I came across this program for making comics or how to manuals from your digital photos. I've only been playing with it for a couple of hours but its great fun. I noticed that on their forums a lot of people reckoned it was over priced but I could certainly use it in my school. Has anyone bought a copy or had more time using it?

I've only played with it for a few minutes, but it looks pretty cool.

If I had some comic-ready artwork, this would make layout quite simple.

Nothing you can't mimic in OmniGraffle from what I can see.

I mean, spend a little time making some comic-related "Stencils", and you'd have the same thing.

But it seems ok anyway.

I like it - I've just had problems in printing and saving as .pdf - exporting as jpg works great. If you do printing or pdfs, though, the pictures aren't placed correctly, and it's a big mess.

Just FYI, it's been updated, with some new features, bug fixes (pdf export, maybe? I haven't tried) and new pricing schemes.

I can report it appears to be fixed. Well worth the download! Price dropped to $25, too - I think it's worth double that; it's a slick little application.
