Go to the apple store and click on Powermac G5. Click on the new single 1.8 Ghz Powermac G5. Go to graphics support and customize the GPU to the 9800XT. Notice it says 25MB of Vram and not 256 MB of Vram.

That reminds me of a commercial that's currently running on our big local talk radio station. The company is called ISN (Integrated Network Solutions, or something like that). They're a regular advertiser, changing their spots every 1-2 months, usually using workplace "IT/computer woes" humor as the hook to their spots.

Anyway, the one that's currently running has a guy talking to his boss about his new computer. The boss asks "what's it got?" and the employee replies "It's got 3GHz with 2GB of RAM and a 128MB hard drive...".



Funnier than that, it's been running that way for over three weeks now. I'm SURE they've gotten e-mails from area geeks going "uh, shouldn't that be 128 gigabytes?"



"Yeah, I've got this kick-ass machine, with maxxed-out RAM...but all I can install on it is half of the After Dark Disney screensaver app from 1994...the Goofy, Minnie and Winnie the Pooh modules, since they're the most kick-ass!"



(said Disney screensaver was second Mac app I ever bought, over 10 years ago. Entire thing came on one floppy)
