I was wondering two things:
1. How does one go about putting photos onto an iPod? I tried it and I can't seem to figure out how to do it. 2. Does anyone have any idea why Apple TV is listed in the iPod Store on Apple.com? |

2. The Apple TV functions very similarly to the iPod in how its material is loaded and how it works |

I'm really surprised they didn't call it the iPod TV. That's basically how it functions, after all, as an iPod that uses your TV as its display.

Well I knew about the sync with iPhoto, but I mean there's no way to just drag which photos you want onto it?

Not really, no. If I understand it correctly, iTunes compresses the photos into thumbnails for the iPod's screen and caches them onto the iPod. iPod won't read just any jpeg, it has to be formatted specially.
