Can the CS3 utilitize more than 2GB of RAM? I remember someone mentioned that even the CS3 won't be able to utilitize more than 2GB of RAM. Is it true?

No need to be a smartass. Most questions on this forum could be answered using Google, but thats completely irrelevant.

To answer your question, BlueApple, yes.

With a non-64 bit version though, I think the maximum is 4GB of RAM. But please don't hold me to that.

Wait... non-64 bit version? I thought there are only two versions of CS3, one is PC version, another is Mac version. I have a Mac version. It doesn't say 32 or 64 bit.

This should help clear up some confusion. The gist of it is: Photoshop CS3 is 32-bit; the Adobe devs want to do a 64-bit version, but it would require a separate binary and the development costs (time, money) it would require are needed elsewhere. There simply aren't enough users of 64-bit applications at the present time to make it worthwhile (yet).
