Simple question.
Will an old 512mb SO-DIMM from my 1.33Ghz 17" Powerbook fit in my Girlfriends 1.33Ghz 15" Powerbook? If so, I assume Crucial is the place to buy 1GB SO-DIMMs? |

Your best bet would be to try out Crucial's configurator and check out the speed of the recommended SO-DIMMs for each PowerBook model. They'll probably be the same since the FSB on PowerBook models hasn't moved for a couple years.

Yeah, it'll work. They're both 1.33 GHz machines so they'll both use the same bus speed and the same RAM.
BTW, you can save about $100 on 1 GB SODIMMs if you buy from www.macsales.com instead of Crucial. OWC (Macsales) is a really great Mac shop and I've never heard anything but positive reports about them. Plus, they sell 1 GB SODIMMs for about $200, versus Crucial's $300+ price. |
