Hi,

which do you prefer? The design of the iBook or the design of the Powerbook. And why?

I prefer the Powerbook, silver appeals to me much more than white...

I like the 12" PB because of its sleek design and the silver. The white iBook doesn't have that something. It looks like many other wannabees. The design is bland and not sleek.

I prefer the design of the PowerBook (its beautiful), although due to monetary constraints, I have an iBook.

I prefer the PowerBook, which is one of the many reasons I bought it instead of an iBook. However, if you're trying to chose between the two, don't let looks be the deciding factor.

Like Matsu, the keyboard.

The current texture on the plastic iBook palm rests makes me cringe. The metal looks and feels more solid and professional. Even though it's only a fraction of an inch in each direction, the PowerBook feels smaller than the iBook side-by-side.
