I got my hands on a 867 12inch pb today that had taken a little drop. The bottom case is a little bent but the machine works great and the lcd and the rest of it are perfect. The only thing I noticed is that the slot drive is a little flaky. It rejects discs but once and a while it works fine. I am going to sell the machine but is it worth it to get the new lower cover and combo drive or should I sell it as is? How much is it worth like it is?

I would sell it as it is. Probably by the time you replace the parts and the cost of them, when you sell it you would probably make little profit because most of the money will probably equal the cost of the parts.

Personally, I would just keep it as a backup machine......Never can have to many Macs sitting around the house......

I'm of the same mind. Selling a Mac (except if you absolutely need the cash) is in the same category as selling your books - it just doesn't seem right.

Exactly. It's fun to boot old Macs up years later and see how far we've come. That and Oldschool Mac Gaming.

If I didn't already have a 12" PB, I might be interested in this one. However, it would be kind of redundant having two of (essentially) the same computer lying around.
