After I insert a blank DVD into my 15" al pwr book, I get the following error: Burning the disc cannot proceed because the startup disc is full (Error code -34)

I have space.

% df
Filesystem 512-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/disk0s9 117197648 111287496 5398152 95% /

According to this article, http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107396, the issue is with the tmp dir. I have a link, however, it is not exactly the same. Is it close enough?

% ls -la / | grep tmp
lrwxrwxr-t 1 root admin 11 Sep 19 12:09 tmp -> private/tmp

This is what Apple says I should have roughly:
lrwxrwxr-t 1 root admin 11 Jan 15 11:00 tmp@ -> private/tmp

Please help.

Thanks.
