I thought we could post any links to reviews we find about Tiger, both positive and negative. Well, here's a start:
Arstechnia - http://arstechnica.com/reviews/os/macosx-10.4.ars/ Pcworld.com - http://pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,120646,00.asp Pcmag.com - http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1790897,00.asp Time.com - http://www.time.com/time/business/ar...052512,00.html Paul Thurrot - http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/macosx_tiger.asp So far all positive.........(Including Paul Thurrot ) |

Seattle Times: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm..._ptmacc30.html
It was especially nice, since it took up most of the back page of the business section with a pic of Dashboard and a Mac OS timeline. The most interesting part, though, is that they actually put something about Tiger on the front page - a small thing with a pic of the Tiger box saying "Apple's new operating system purrs" on the top right of the front page in between the sports headlines. I wonder how many copies of the Seattle Times got sent to Microsoft? Now we know where they're getting all their ideas from. |

Your review entry is my favorite so far. Probably 15% of the entire city is directly or indirectly employed by MS. To have Apple's stuff paraded in the local paper for all to see must surely give Gates and Ballmer an allergic reaction. Pwned, losers! ...into the light of a dark black night. |

But that could be a reason why they mention Apple on the front page: that helps sell the paper. It's like Hitler or bin Laden on the front page. Not that I want to compare Apple with bin Laden, of course ...

Well, whatever their motives at the paper, it can't be anything but infuriating to the upper echelons of MS.

Apple's Big Cat Bites Don't worry, it "Bites" in the positive sense - Unless you're Bill Gates. |
