Does anybody have thoughts about non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards?

And by "thoughts" I mean something that rhymes with heck-o-men-dashuns.

(I'm trying not to attract you know who)

What kind are you interested in? Full size, compact, mechanical, Mac specific? Need more details.

Thanks Spec! For a Mac Mini that will begin its life as a VHS tape ingestion system. It will be in the living room, so I might be sitting on a couch operating it.

I was looking at full size but that seems unnecessary for this use. I would like mechanical, but since I'll not be sitting at a desk I don't think this will be the best solution.

I'm using a Macally Solar (Full-size) which I like a lot: https://us.macally.com/products/btsolarkeysg

I think they do a compact version.

Before that, I was using a truly cheap chinese one from Miniso that was actually about 95% as good, but had a bit of sluggish reconnect from sleep.

I have to say that personally every bluetooth keyboard or mouse I've ever used sucked so bad I wired it or got rid of it. The lag sucks so bad more times than it should. If you want wireless I'd recommend going with something like a Logitech or something like that and their Unity wireless. I've never had lag and it works a long way from the base.

Heck, I even wire connected my Magic Trackpad 2 because it got laggy every now and then.
