I finally got the supplemental update by using the normal method last night. I just worked that time.

As for failed updates, Server 2016 is way more stable about it than 2012 R2. I only work with Windows 10 for PC desktop systems and I generally don't have a problem there though a few. At this point, I have to say my macOS systems are just as buggy about updates as Windows 10/2016 (and 2019 for that matter).
