OK, so hardly anyone misses hockey except me. But this guy does too, or rather, he did. Enough to slam Goodenow and Bettman in his obituary:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

Won't anyone think of the old folks?!

This guy is dead. Long live hockey! ...did I get that right?

Moogs? I don't understand.

I've always suspected that Moogs and BuonRotto are the same person. Perhaps this confirms it????

I coulda picked any of the 2 or 3 hockey fans that frequent this place. Moogs (again, his name always makes me think of Andy Moog of the Bruins) popped in my head first.

But seriously, PBS needs your support as viewers. Right now your local station should be running its Winter Pledge Drive. Contributions are tax-deductible.

You were kidding, right?

Whatever. Gary Bettman killed this old man. Freaking bastard. I guess the only good thing about the lock out is the longer it goes on the more cruddy teams like the Hurricanes and Preds will fold.

The only thing I watch on tv is hockey so the lack of NHL lovin' made the cable useless. When I called to cancel, the girl on the other end of the line didn't really have a response when I told there reason for cutting was the NHL Lockout.

PBS in Seattle rocks.

PBS in NC bites.

PBS would be a lot better if they showed NHL. :P

PBS in Buffalo (the feed Torontonians get) is horrid. Bloody horrid.

PBS = TV

NPR = radio

I do listen to NPR. It would be improved by carrying hockey.

PBS in Boston (WGBH) was really awsome, but I'm biased because I used to work for them.
PBS (AETN) in Little Rock sucks sweaty monkey balls!

If only ESPN would replace the NHL timeslots with soccer the world would be a better place.

Murbot's nailgun is famous and he only pulls it out if someone says something anti-Canadian.... like beer sucks or hockey isn't a real sport.

There are really only two PBS stations that consistently produce original programming worth watching: WGBH and KQED.

I am not dead.

I am not Rotto.

I am not whole... Gary Bettman's incompetance is the reason.

I need a Railgun.

PS - I am honored to have a vicarious obituary thread named after me. I only wish I'd seen it before tonight. Thank you, Mr. Rotto.

...into the light of a dark black night.
