Good heavens, C., you must be a Sagittarian. Is that correct?
I wouldn't have guessed that off the top of my head; but then, I'm *really* bad at pin-pointing people's signs. However, Sagittarius 'does' fit, in that you generally say pretty much what you think, zinging-in those arrows of truth. I do think you are a bit more guarded, and choose your words more carefully than most Sagittarians, though. Would you agree with that? Anyway, I hope your day has been enjoyable, and that the year you are beginning is both fun and productive. Happy Birthday, C.!!! EDIT: I see that somehow I completely missed the birthdays of Chinney and InactionMan. Sorry guys. Very belated good wishes to you both. |

Hey curiousuburb - this is intentional ... HB!
Older and wiser? A deadly combination I'm sure. Glad to hear you had a good day. In terms of MBTI, are you an I? |

Older, definitely... wiser, one hopes... depends on the test. Took me a bit to wiki MBTI (at first I thought you meant MTBF and I've still got plenty of hours under warranty, I hope) Not sure where I'd consistently rate on the MBTI... some days my answers would be E, at other times, I. Logic and thinking some days, intuitive artist on others. Depends on the question and my state of mind, I suppose. I seem to be getting more reserved as I get older, but perhaps that's common... or may just be a reaction to the increasing surveillance of society. I suspect that like most tests of that stripe, it fails to differentiate between 'perceived' behaviour and 'actual' behaviour due to the fact that people often fib to themselves about their motivations or rose tint their view into the mirror. Now on the Voight-Kampf test, I'm pretty sure I'd pass. |

So, it's OK to ask you to "describe in single words, only the good things that come in to your mind about ... your mother" then?

Yeah happy birthday everyone. Hope you all have great fun.
I just had my dad's 50th birthday and it was fantastic. He hates parties, but we got all of his close friends and family together and had a BBQ and some drinks and he said he had an amazing couple of days. Its terrific what just getting people together does to people. It's one of those things in life i love so much. Just being around people you love. |

Why thank you very much.
I got breakfast in bed this morning, and I got MythBusters season 1 one DVD, the book Hamlet on the Holodeck, and Family Guy Uno. It's only 8:30 and it's already been a good birthday. |

Whoa! Hey, Staph, we all wish you an incredibly happy birthday!
I just now noticed your name down there, and I'm not sure if your birthday is still *today*, according to US time zones, or if your birthday was actually yesterday, because 'today' is 'yesterday' in Australia. Hmmm.... Did that make any sense? No? Well, it didn't to me either. Hope whenever your birthday actually is, that it's a great one, and that you have a very special day. I just want to say that you've always been one of my favorite posters at AI/AN. I *loved* all the information you explained to me so *many* months ago about the Australian national character, etc. I never did finish that conversation with you, to my great regret. Maybe one of these days you'll let me ask you some more questions? Yes? No? |

My very dear Quagmire,
I think you are a great kid and I'm very glad that you are one of the members of AppleNova. And this is your 16th birthday!!!!! OMG! Such a landmark day. I truly wish you the very best in everything, quag. You deserve it for being such a good son, and for turning out so much better than your brother and sister. I bet your parents think the world of you. Wish I could give you a real hug, but a virtual hug will have to do. *hug* Much love. ~ Carol ~ |
