I thought we might post world info here for those interested.


WWorld 22 June: I've just explored close to the spawn portal, but heading North there's a massive Tiaga, South is Dark Forest and East are some scary caves. There's a small Flower Forest somewhat SE as well.

Time to grab some ferns!

I proposed in the other thread that we call this joint WeeklyWorld™.

Edit: More update for you! There is no Nether in this joint. I tossed a portal down and went exactly nowhere. Just hung out in the wavy purpleness and twiddled my thumbs.

Edit 2: Brad, will you please post some type of "schedule" so we know what day and hour the thing will implode? That would be helpful-ish.

(I plan to rotate the world roughly every Friday, but no promises. For now it's a manual process. We'll see how it pans out!)

I kinda miss the old fire behavior, to be honest. Few things are more exciting than the mad scramble to get ahead of a raging wildfire so you can blast out a firebreak with TNT.

New temporary world! This one's spawn is in a forest with a nearby ravine and swamps.

I finished the excavation project* at the park and needed a good adventure thing to get my reflexes working again, so I threw an ender eye in the temp world and said "why not?".

Stronghold entry is roughly 292/883; not too far from spawn. Bonus is that it has a large mineshaft system going through it… like, through it. It's the most "you got peanut butter in my chocolate!" area I've ever seen. They are well mixed, and it's delightful. And super dangerous. Have at it if you're so inclined. Torches on the right.

* Check out the hole if you're curious. I'm stepping away from it for a week or so to get some air, but it's massive. And gorgeous. If you want to get to it, go down the spider/skellie XP trap path, take a right at the gates leading to my livestock pen, and if you want to get to the bottom - trek through the pen and take the ladder down.

I think the way it is now is incredibly sexy, but it's about to get all weird up on in up er her e.

Or did I goof something? Those words of warning are more for the individuals than anything else. I really have no idea what would happen if I nuke and recreate a world while someone's avatar is located in it but logged off! Worst case: you log in buried underground or in lava and die instantly.
