I've always wondered (when doing mock ups etc) what fonts Apple use for their Ads and products. Specifically the font on iMacs and the fonts used in all their ads etc.
Can anyone tell me what they are without me searching forever in my fonts collection? |

I've got this Myriad Pro collection (might've come with the Adobe Creative Suite) and I use Myriad Semibold for all my mockup needs. It's good to teh last crop.

As mentioned, it's usually Adobe Myriad Pro.
It's a commercial font; so, I'd better not see any pirates coming out of the woodwork here! about the Myriad Pro font suite The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Does anybody know what font they use on the PB keyboards? It does look a bit like Myriad...

It's very similar to Futura, but that's not quite it.

Great question. I've never once thought about that. (And I typically think of such things)

Apple uses a variant called, surprisingly enough, Apple Myriad.
Don't ask me how I know that, but I do. Trust me. |

Thanks for the replies. I haven't even got normal Myriad let alone Apple Myriad on my system..... Time to search the font sites!

You can get Adobe Myriad from the link I posted above. Apple Myriad, if like Apple Garamond of years past, will only be available internally at Apple unless someone has managed to leak it.

Apple Garamond was included with Mac OS X 10.0 through 10.2 - but hidden so it wasn't accessible by applications. Myriad Apple is pretty easy to get.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that. Well, for the years up until Mac OS X, it was a tightly guarded secret.
