Does anyone know of a way that I can suck all of the photos off my RAZR V3? I have photos on there I don't want to delete, but I want to free up the space. I tried using bluetooth to just take the entire "photos" folder, but the connection times out before it can even get one photo.
I have a USB cable (its just a USB Mini A jack on the phone, probably USB 1.1) but that doesn't do anything other than physically tether the phone to the comp. Ideally, I'd like to mount the phones internal memory like a flash drive. Then I could move photos, ringtones, java games, etc. freely. The RAZR in question is a silver one, about 9 months old, from Cingular. Thanks Logic, logic, logic. Logic is the beginning of wisdom, Valeris, not the end. |

Could the problem be trying to move the entire folder? I use a sony ericsson, so not sure if it's the same, but when I browse my pics folder I can highlight the pics using my Mac and drag them to the desktop or something and they move.
Never tried the whole folder, but maybe that's asking too much somehow...? |

Yeah, it works fine via Bluetooth here, too. I've never tried doing the whole folder at once, just all of the pics in the folder - I've moved up to about 30 at a time and it's always worked fine.

I've got a RAZR V3c (alltel) and I hit Bluetooth Icon(at the top of the screen)>Browse Device>Razr Phone>Pictures. You then highlight all the files you want and click 'Get'.
If your Bluetooth is set up correctly it should download the files off your phone and onto the desktop. P.S. You may need to browse the web to get a few files to install to make the whole thing work. |

Bingo. I was trying to just drag and drop, it was timing out. The get command does the trick though.
Thanks guys! |
