I stole it from chucker, but this place is ridiculous. Its almost so ridiculously funny that you aren't sure whether are joking or not. I can't believe there are some people who would fly in the face of all scientific fact for this idea - I for one want to visit this ice wall.

Of course there are people who fly in the face of all scientific fact. Seriously, there are people who believe in every possible thing you can believe in. I don't know if these people are joking or not (though I suspect they're not), but I'm sure there are people who believe the earth is flat.

It's pretty easy to find people who think just about anything that ever happened or was proved by science was actually a government conspiracy. The moon landing, anyone?

Search for Ice Wall on that forum. The threads are great, including one from a guy who claims to be one of the hundreds of thousands who are hired to protect people from the icewall!

I could spend hours on this site.

Yeh, who nowadays would still believe man has walked on the moon? If we'd already been there then why are NASA sending folk there "again?"

Q: "If the world was really flat, what would happen if you jump off the disc's edge?"

A: You would enter an inertial reference frame, moving at a constant velocity in the direction the Earth was moving before you jumped. The Earth would continue accelerating upwards past you at a rate of 1g, so it would appear to you that you were falling into space.
Okkkkkk now I understand !

holy crap...if global warming melts the ice walls all the ocean water will seep out into space...we will become a dry planet traveling upward, dead, throughout space and time...

the government must immediately destroy all cars and anything that uses fossil fuels

Ah no, but they said that the government wouldn't do that because it cares too much about money. Keep up g!

That's just hilarious. Seems I lived for 4 years in a country that doesn't exist and married a girl who should not exist (she's Australian).

Hmm...so if I wasn't living in Australia, where was I?

Then you are a secret agent working for the conspiracy.

Quote:
Well, the fact is that Australia doesn't really exist. Everything you have ever heard about it was made up, and any pictures of it you have seen were faked by the government. I am sure you have even talked to people on the internet who claim to be from Australia. They are really secret government agents who are surfing the internet to enforce these false beliefs.

You know, also looking at the map that Chucker posted, they list "Arctic Circle" and "Antarctic Circle" at the top and the bottom. IF the earth is flat, then calling them "circles" would be wrong. You can't call a straight line a "circle".

OK, already spent way too much time on this. Moving on...

You *believe* you did, which proves that the conspiracy to keep this under wraps is extremely powerful and worth keeping secret at any cost.

We know your mind was programmed somehow with these "memories", but I wonder where your body was kept for those 4 years. Somewhere near the Ice Wall, I imagine.

Actually, that map is part of the Australia Isn't Real conspiracy, not the Flat Earth one.

Sweet - I am a government agent and I didn't even realize it! I was born in Brisbane, so I'm sure one day I'll get the "signal" like "Order 66" in Star Wars (for macgeek2006) or "the headaches and flashbacks" like in Bourne Identity.

Maybe the Gorillas with lasers were real after all?

Cheers,
Wraven

annndddd this is their pinnacle:

Not only they stole from (IINM) New Zealand natives' mythology, but also create a serious problem.

Ok. We have an elephant. Where we put him at? On ground? Ok, where is the ground? On a bigger elephant?

Seriously. What a clusterfuck.

The four elephants are not bound by the same laws of physics that *normal* beings are. Duh.

Well, they have a long way to go.

The forum has 8,700 members whereas Scientology church can have anywhere from 50,000 to 150,000 members as reported by third parties. (They say they have 10 million, but um, there you go).

They stand on the turtle. And that stands on another turtle. I fact, it's turtles all the way down.

Well, they're very happy "memories", I'll say that much. The folks who programmed those were very generous. They sure cultivated a serious love of good food and fine wine and the ability to make a kick-ass latte/cappucino/espresso. I also seem to remember some all night orgies in several different legal brothels.

What we need to do is get the Flat Earthers and these yahoos into a pitched ideological warfare somehow, then sit back and laugh even more than we do now.

OTOH, it'd be kind of like watching short bus gangs fighting, which really is just kinda sad...
