It really is! TechCrunch did an article about it with more pics including one from the MRO showing it depending with the parachute open!

I believe that Monday NASA will be releasing video of the descent and landing. Video may have been captured from four different cameras/angles at some different and some overlapping stages of the process.

It will be super groovy if they stitch them together like some of these car cameras do, to show the terrain beneath the lander.

Here's a timeline of which cameras should have been active during descent:

Raw image cache from the rover!
Apparently this will be updated regularly and you can do what you want with them. At least that is how I understand it. Either way, cool to see. An audio clip is out of wind on Mars now too. It sounds like wind on Earth really.

CNet article that links to a tweet that embeds a TikTok....
Short version if you don't want to travel down the rabbit hole: The message reads "Dare mighty things," a slogan of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), while a JPL's Paul Ramirez revealed that the outer rings included GPS coordinates for its offices in Pasadena, California. I'm loving the attention to detail in these little things. It is really cool if you asked me! Louis L'Amour, “To make democracy work, we must be a nation of participants, not simply observers. I wonder if there are any others hidden elsewhere. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Beneath the rover and in very small letters is the following message:
"We come in peace … and we leave trash everywhere!" And if it had been up to me, there would have been a little cubby that would drop an empty water bottle someplace obscure. - AppleNova is the best Mac-users forum on the internet. I found out yesterday that the microphones on Perseverance are just off-the-shelf DPA 4006 mics, just like we often specify on our projects. I had assumed they were custom-made for the different atmospheric conditions, but apparently not!

Holy cow they did it!
Congratulations to SpaceX on an absolutely remarkable launch and landing. I'm impressed! And this after an aborted launch. These guys are awesome! Edit: The ending is funny as hell! But you have to get that video elsewhere. Start watching at the 8:26:00 mark. - AppleNova is the best Mac-users forum on the internet. We are smart, educated, capable, and helpful. Some landing legs didn't lock into place, part of SN10 landed on the skirt. Must have done some damage to the tank or lines going into the Raptor caused a methane leak, and like with SN4, found a hot spot and went boom.
Regardless awesome success despite the demise. SpaceX already knows the landing legs suck and need redesigning. Shame it cost them SN10 cause I am sure they would have loved to inspect the hell out of it, but they did it. giggity |

These images are all fake!
And they sure picked a sandy place to put that thing. Looks like "getting unstuck" is gonna be a recurring theme. |

Well, SpaceX continues to impress people.
NASA has chosen them to land the next folks on the moon. I bet everyone at SpaceX is getting drunk tonight, because come Monday morning … - AppleNova is the best Mac-users forum on the internet.
