Okay, I checked the Audio MIDI Setup and the output is set properly to 44.1 KHz.
The following link: http://ci.moorpark.ca.us/cgi-bin/sta...ntry=y&thid=26 (the Video link at the lower-right) Doesn't produce sound at all in Safari OR FireFox. I have tried installing the Flip4Mac plugin but still no sound. I think this is a Codec issue. Other Safari/Firefox sites (like YouTube) work okay. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do outside of installing XP in a virtual machine? Thanks |

For what it's worth, that page uses an ASX file which embeds an MMS (Microsoft Media Services) URL. VLC says the video stream is "WMV3" (which as you can see plays fine with Flip4Mac) and the audio stream is "wmas", which it cannot decode. Maybe the "s" indicates that it's a special "streaming" variation of WMA.
