Hello guys

i have bought a powerbook g4 alluminum 15 1.25ghz fw800
from craigslist and it works pretty fine for me i need to buy some new parts for it
( Pram battery power battery and the keyboard backlight is not working and the latch that keeps the lid closed does not work some times )
but besides that it works fine running mac os x 10.4.11 ( i want to upgrade to leopard 10.5 )
when i close the lid it goes to sleep just fine but when i open the lid it wakes up but then it goes straight to sleep again

if any one knows where i can get some good parts in Holland
and an answer to my sleep mode problem

What happens when you sleep via the apple menu? I am thinking the latch which does not work properly is telling the computer that it is still closed and needs to sleep.
