I am terrible at reading lips and the scene was cut short... was Faith's reaction an angry "WHAT?" or something else?

One of the comments on that page:

Quote:
I once saw Hoover at Reno do an exceptional stunt - he overheade the stage are at low altitude, high airspeed with both props feathered, then proceeded to do some vertical stuff off the end of the runway, props still stationary. He ultimately descended, during the maneuver routine, and disappeared below a low hill off the runway end; still stationary props. Everyone held their breath awaiting his re-appearance, which came after what seemd a very long interval. The shrike suddenly rose above the hill horizon line, did a couple more rolls, the gear came out and he landed.
The topper was his rollout, the Shrike exited the runmway, and rolled to the ramp and stopped exactly at the chocks which he had left at the start of the whole routine, props not still unturned!!!
In the words of the Mountain Dew-fueled generation -- that would be SICK.

Anyone seen the YouTube where k-fed gets dumped via a text message from Britney, all while the cameras are rolling? I shouldn't smile when I watch that, but I do.

There's a Nintendo DS game that seems like this, too, but for some reason I can't remember its name.

That would just suck. Guess he should have thought before answering.

My kids showed me this one:

Apparently this will be a real show in the winter. Although this is a little silly, I thought it was well produced. This Justin guy has a future.

UPDATE: I now see Luca started an entire thread on this...

I don't know if this has been posted before (haven't checked every link). But I think it's heart-stopping at times. Here's the description:
Quote:
On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.

No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.

The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets.

Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago.
Just amazing at times. Just. Plain. Amazing. Oh... and I recommend watching until the end (or, if you get bored, skipping until somewhat close to the end and then watching the rest).

Very cool. . .simply amazing. At one point he appears to go down one street and change his mind so his course must have had a few deviations. Driving that fast on cobblestone must be very difficult.

As mentioned somewhere in Luca's thread, the mythos behind the film is actually quite inaccurate...except for the unwitting extras/bystanders.

The car being driven was actually a 1970s era Mercedes S-Class (Link)

It most likely never exceeded 100 MPH, and the entire course was predetermined. A Ferrari did contribute the nicely dubbed audio track though.

Magnificent car BTW, my family had a 300SD built on the same frame and it is still 100% functional to date with no extra care taken. Finding diesel in California is a bitch though!

This one is going to be my absolute gem for a long time!

The guy recorded little pieces of of video of himself playing drum and piano notes, and composed a song out of it.
