A friend invited me to watch a web seminar for something called "AdSurfDaily", which immediately set my alarms spinning wildly out of control. It sounds like some sort of "making money from the internet by surfing from home" scheme. First off, can anybody tell what exactly it is that they do? Isn't this just some kind of elaborate Ponzi scheme? Google Search it.

You get points for clicking on ads basically.. But it's dressed up with delay loops to appease the advertisers so that they feel you read the ads..
Do it over and over a zillion times a day to make a few dollars.. Then try and get people into the scheme through your referrals and profit from them too. At least that's what all the ones I have investigated appear to be. I have not looked into this one, but am guessing that is about the size of it. Total waste of time for losers. Why would anyone want to pay to have people to pretend to read their advertisements?
Is there a "buy-in" price for people to "get to be in the program"? Is this Click Fraud? Basically, who's getting scammed here? |

Yes, it is click fraud, and it's the advertisers that are getting scammed, if I'm reading this correctly.

Hang on, who exactly are the "Clients" at this place (these places)?
I thought this company was doing this for the benefit of the advertisers... however that works. I'm so confused. |

I would think the "clients" are ad sellers (like Google, Yahoo, MSN, and DoubleClick), not ad buyers. They pay people less to click the link than they get paid for the link. (The buyer might pay them 15 cents per click-through, while they pay the sucker who's doing this for money 2 cents per click-through.)

Do they show you each and every source from which people clicked upon their advertisements?
Is there a website that anybody knows of that explores/exposes the fraudulence of these operations? |
