So within the next month or so each console is getting sequels to huge games, Halo 2, Metroid Prime 2 and San Andreas. I don't know how I'm going to get out of the house. I got rid of my playstation a couple years ago, too, so I guess I should go get a used one while I can.

I feel your pain. It kinda bites that most of the great games come out at the same time every year. Why don't these folks realize that they could get their game to stand out if they released it at some time when there aren't a ton of other great games coming out for the holidays? People can only buy/play so many games at a time. I think some of these good games just get lost in the crowd.

The local Video Game store in the mall just put up a being sign for GTA: San Andreas. It's weird how time passes, I remember (What seems like) not too long ago when people were fiercely debating what the next GTA game would be called, extrapolating endlessly on minor tidbits from the developers.

Forget all the sequels try out Fable, Peter Molyneux's newest game. School has limited my playing time but with what little I've squezed in it seems like a solid title.

It's even rougher that in today's console world you have to own all three. With just one or even two you end up missing out on great games.

My neighborhood power would go into a brownout if I plugged in all my console games at once. Sad really, but...it rules too.

Actually I need a new PS2...burnt it out playing the GTAs...

Republic Commandos looks great. Might get Fable but I'm kinda not in that mode right now. Want Halo 2 basically more than anything. Wish the hell Operation Flashpoint would come out on XBOX.

Ah well, I need to get a job before all that happens.

No new GTA for Xbox? Shit!

Of course, the gamers will all laugh at me for not knowing this... shows how much time I spend on my Xbox.

Hell... even the Atari joystick is making a comeback...

If can remember this then you're old enough to have witnessed the video gaming revolution first hand. So why not turn back the clock and re-live the old days and show the younger generation where it all began. No longer will you require the original console, simply plug the joystick which has all the required bits built in

The Atari Classics 10-in-1 features 10 official and fully-licensed Atari games:

* Asteroids®
* Adventure™
* Missile Command®
* Centipede®
* Gravitar®
* Yar’s Revenge®
* Breakout®
* Pong®
* Circus Atari™
* Real Sports Volleyball™.

I have this one. It brought back good memories, but the joystick works pretty poorly. Oh well, what did I expect for $15?

The original Atari Joystick didn't excel (8 directional) and the rubber sheath always seemed to separate from the cheaper plastic of the stick and chassis itself.

One hopes these won't end up buried in landfills like the old cartridges were.
