Hi there,
Just wondering if the new, supposedly longer-lasting pb battery would work with my eight month old 1.67 GHz pb, whose battery-life I find a little disappointing. I don't know if the new battery lasts longer because the new pb release has a different logic board, or different firmware, that might be responsible for the better battery life. Or is it simply a better battery - - which I could use? Thanks, Malcolm |

The new PowerBook has a longer-lasting battery in various ways:
1) the battery has higher capacity 2) the screen's backlight is more power-efficient You can get higher-capacity batteries for your existing PowerBook from newertech.com, right here. |
