Yes, 21GHz Core Duo, with 14 seconds of battery life.

Man, I don't know...probably the same as the 15" MacBook Pro. Just bigger?

But I don't even think they'll have one, period (for reasons given in a couple of other threads that I don't want to rehash).

Does anyone have any sources for the relative sales figures of the 12", 15" and 17" versions of the PowerBooks? That would indicate whether they would bother with a 12" or 17" version of the MBP.

Seems like I heard that they didn't release that. I'm sure they know it, and have it internally.

Never seen them. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the 12" MBP failed to materialise, it would be so easy to simply cover that niche with the Intel iBook. 17" MBP would be good but I'd go along with 'scates comments in another thread that just having a15" MBP would be pretty minimalist and cool.

in my store, we sell an approximate equal number of 12" and 15", and maybe 1 17" for every 10 15"s

Yeah, but the 17" Powerbook is an extremely high-margin product - it hardly costs Apple $500 over the 15" model. I think we'll see a 17" MacBook Pro eventually (Merom?).

and i guess i've known it all along / the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong
