Hey I just thought I'd post this in case anyone is curious. I just downloaded the Bioshock Demo to the windows XP parition of my Macbook Pro (2.33 Ghz Core 2 Duo, with 2Gb of RAM) and it ran VERY well with all the graphics settings set to max.
I wanted to let people know because I thought with Bioshock being the intense graphics hog that it is and seeming to advertise more support for Nvidia drivers that it might not run so well on MBP hardware. It runs really well so if anyone was curious about trying Bioshock as long as the don't have a Macbook they should give it a try. It seems to be a pretty cool game also. |

Older revisions of the MacBook Pro won't be so hot though, what with their awful X1600 chip. I'd be very interested to see how this performs on the new iMac too.

Glad to hear the MPB does it justice! I have it on the 360 and it's AMAZING.
In fact, I read an article where a guy claimed that Vista runs best on Mac hardware...I guess that's because there's a small set of specific drivers, and Apple writes them! |
