I did read in a swiss Apple forum about the recession of Steve Jobs because the slogan "the 30 years was just the beginning" and the stock affair. They think it's better for him if he goes unsolicited as he "has to" leave the Apple managment. I think what's Apple Inc. without Steve? What do you think?

He's been forced to leave once before, and look at what happened.
He's as close as you can get to untouchable. He'll leave when he wants and not a moment sooner. |

He is going to leave and when he does, he will be showing Apple's latest and greatest new product, the iCuffs. They come with built in bluetooth prisoner vital stats monitoring and with their new position sensor, you will be able to track where all prisoners happen to be located.
Steve is led away due to the stock options scandal and Apple plunges to $.25 a share the following morning where it is then bought out by Microsoft and is immediately assimilated. Or...perhaps not... Nick |

Yes, just what they want to advertise beforehand in a big way.

Good point. I hadn't thought of it from that angle, but there's no way they'd be pimping the event like this if it was about Jobs leaving. No chance.

not a chance. The stock would tank.
The reason Steve Sold Pixar to Disney is so that Disney Anamatronics can get a Steve anamatronic for the keynotes. Steve will then pour his knowledge into mac os 11 where he will live in eternity. |

Somehow I don't see Steve disappearing quite yet. I'd say he's still got a good number of years to go.

Steve brought his family to the keynote. No idea if that's a sign of this thread becoming a reality but it seems strange to me.

That would be like George Bush leavivg the White House within 6 months, Come to think of it, Stevie's leaving Apple is even LESS likely... |

Kind of a significant moment that you'd like your family to be at. Jobs said he isn't going anywhere afterwards. |

Steve made it clear in the CNBC interview that this rumor is false.
