My dad is looking at getting a Mac, but needs to continue using some ancient DOS programs (PFS, older Peachtree, etc).

Does anyone know if VPC 7 will run DOS? The box says XP Home, Pro and Win 2000. And, if so, will it access one of those cute little external floppy drives?

I know the old geezer can be converted, but he MUST have his old crap.

Thanks.

Ken

There are some free DOS emulator available that do a good job and are, well, free.

I'd suggest looking ino DOSBox first. I've actually used it for a few old DOS games and it works well enough for me!
