Hey I'm upgrading a co-workers Graphite G4 (400 or 466 not sure which one) to OS X.3 and she bought a new iPod. Of course the iPod doesn't work in OS 9. Anyways I was wondering what the best PCI USB 2.0 cards that will work on a Mac. I found an IOGEAR GIC220U at Bestbuy for $19.99 Canadian, but when I looked up the drivers they say don't install on OS X.2.8 or higher. There is no driver listed for OS X.3 or X.4. Is anyone using this card in a Mac running OS X.3. Please help. Otherwise if its too expensive I might just have to buy a Firewire iPod Cable.

Found this at MacMall. It has 6 USB 2.0 ports, installs in any computer with a PCI slot, and includes drivers for OS X. $12.99 US.
Or there's this if $12.99 is too steep or your friend doesn't need 6 USB 2.0 ports. It's going for $9.99 US. Either one works with OS X. Come waste your time with me |

Thanks for the information. Yah I seen the StarTech but the dealers here sell the cheaper one for $29.99 Canadian. So its either a $24.99 Firewire Cable or $29.99 USB 2 pci card.

You'd be stupid to not go with the FW cable, and not just because it's cheaper.
