Has anyone seen this?
http://www.g-turns.com/ is the website. http://g-turns.com/pages/en/products...ndex.g_pod.htm is the page in question. Basically, you spend €5 or so to enter two global co-ordinates and a satellite will 'scratch' the earth's surface for you, turning it into music. The gPod is a topographical marvel. I don't know if it still works as an iPod, but it lets you play the planet. It's about €1000 or so, I think. I want one. gibberish |

Well, seeing as this doesn't follow any patterns, has no definite pitches, and has repeating rhythms, I would not classify it as music. I'd much rather listen to actual Earth sounds, like the wind or ocean, rather than "listening" to the Earth's shape.
